Indian mythology and history has always been contemplating. One such story is about Gangeshwari temple situated on a captivating location of Diu. It’s said that these Shivlings were built by Pandavas. Very less is known about this temple.
What really astounds me is ;how they must have built it during that period that too on the middle of sea inside a cave? Why they must have built it? So many questions remains unanswered buried under mythical stories which is lore from one generation to other.
Each time the sea waves dashes against the shivlings submerges it and then retracts back… what ever the mythology says… the sight is absolutely alluring and mesmerising… an experience of lifetime….Om Namath Shivaya.
